UTAH TURKEY HUNTING

AREAS

Turkey hunting southern Utah near national park country is unique to anywhere else in the world.  Our guides will help you find the best location to pursue a harvest and more importantly a rewarding outdoor experience.  While most everyone else is chasing digital dreams, we are directing our attention to gobblers and Toms!

Hit the back-country roads of canyon country in pursuit of these elusive birds and you’ll lose yourself in the backdrop of red rock wonderland!  Many of the locations we frequent are nearby Bryce Canyon, Capitol Reef and Zion National Park.  No other turkey hunt in the world will find you in more dramatic scenery than southern Utah.  If you’re considering planning your next excursion then look no further than Fremont River Guides to be your base of operations.

SPECIES

The Merriam’s Turkey (Meleagris gallopavo merriami) and Rio Grande Turkey (Meleagris gallopavo intermedia) find Utah habitat ideal.  Turkey populations are flourishing in most regions of the state due to successful management plans and responsible hunting practices.  Our success rates of harvest are very high and largely depend on your ability to hike, stay quiet and follow the direction of our professional guides.
